Iain Pickard co-founded Strategia Worldwide in 2016. After a 20+ year career as a professional soldier, retiring as a senior officer, Iain is a former COO of Marsh’s UK business, COO of a leading Lloyds of London broker, Change Director for AON’s international business, Operations Director of Aspen Re, Head of Financial Services at RSM – the global advisory firm – and a UK Financial Conduct Authority authorised ‘Skilled Person’ for Risk and Governance.
Iain focuses on all aspects of the operations of Strategia Worldwide enabling its strategic growth and also managing complex projects and service delivery for our clients. Identified niche for risk mitigation and transfer consultancy in 2008 and successfully applied methodology with mining ops in Guinea. Has since worked extensively across multiple industries, helping companies execute strategy, identify and manage risks, social License, ESG, security and political risks in particular. He is an accredited IRMA lead auditor and also leads a consortium delivering a cloud based mine tailings monitoring solution.
